New S 61 SX truck-mounted concrete pump for betonlift with exceptional wrapping – first use in the port of Hamburg
It’s getting more colorful on Hamburg’s streets: the north German pump service provider betonlift GmbH & Co. KG has come up with something special for its new S 61 SX large boom pump from SCHWING. The new flagship has a striking wrapping over the familiar beige paintwork. The truck-mounted concrete pump was recently used for the first time in the port of Hamburg.
Herne / Hamburg, December 2019. SCHWING and betonlift can look back on many years of cooperation and a trusting relationship between customers and supplier. As a long-time buyer of truck-mounted concrete pumps, truck-mixers, stationary pumps and other equipment, the Hamburg-based company has been able to provide numerous suggestions for product improvement over the years that have been incorporated into series production. At the beginning of October, in addition to Managing Director Philipp Schmidt-Didlaukies, Sales Manager Horst á Tellinghusen was also a guest at the Herne headquarters to receive a new S 61 SX, painted in company colours and with a special design. The new S 61 SX has now been used for the first time in the port of Hamburg.
From the five northern German locations, betonlift operates one of the largest truck-mounted concrete pump fleets in Germany and, with over 105 machines, is the largest privately owned concrete pump rental company in Germany. In the Hanseatic city and the surrounding area, the company is a permanent fixture in construction projects of all sizes. Using SCHWING-Stetter products, betonlift was involved in the extensive renovation work on the “Alter Elbtunnel” and in the reference project for the “Tanzenden Tuerme”, an award-winning high-rise building at number 1 at the eastern entrance of the Reeperbahn. Currently betonlift pumps and stationary pumps are working during the construction of the fifth lock chamber in Brunsbuettel and the Strandkai in Hamburg in HafenCity, where the S 61 SX also celebrated its first use.
The Ueberseequartier in Hamburg with a concrete volume of around 350,000 m³ is a project of a special size.
