Three models of construction equipment produced by Doosan Infracore and Doosan Bobcat recently won the ‘2019 LCO (Lowest Cost of Ownership) Awards’ hosted by EquipmentWatch, a renowned company providing database information for the construction equipment industry in the North American market. The winning models included Doosan Infracore’s DX300 Excavator and Doosan Bobcat’s T590 Compact Track Loader (CTL) and S70 Skid Steer Loader (SSL).
EquipmentWatch selects the best model from each of fifteen categories of construction equipment – including excavators, loaders and backhoes – that sold exceptionally well in the previous year, on the basis of their annual average number of hours of operation and residual value.
Equipped with smart power control technology that optimizes output and fuel efficiency, durability is the outstanding characteristic of Doosan Infracore’s 30-ton DX300 excavator. It also offers excellent operational efficiency due to the remote monitoring service provided through DoosanCONNECT™, a telematics solution that taps into state-of-the-art information and communications technology.
Doosan Bobcat’s T590 Compact Track Loader (CTL) and the S70 Skid Steer Loader (SSL), deliver excellent performance in confined spaces. The models perform extremely well in a variety of environments due to Doosan Bobcat’s Power Bob-Tach® mounting system, which enables the operators to change attachments without getting out of the cab.
“Both the DX300 and the S70 have been recognized for their excellence for two consecutive years,” noted a Doosan official. “We will provide our customers in the North American construction equipment market with top-tier products equipped with even better quality, durability and productivity in order to continue enhancing customer value.”
